Extra Curricular Clubs

At Shoreditch Park Primary school we are proud of the range of extra-curricular activities offered to our pupils after school, and of the successes our students have had in these areas.

We encourage all our students to develop new interests and to be physically active. These activities give the students the opportunity to work with others, experience teamwork and, in the case of sport, healthy competition. Please find a list of our clubs including costs below (Please note INSET days, Parents Evening and other public holidays have been taken into consideration in regards to sessions and costs)

Maths - Takes place weekly on Mondays

Ms Adam's runs a KS2 intervention maths group weekly. These pupils have been referred by their teachers as needing targeted support in a certain area. Parents cannot book a place at this club, however they can register their interest to Hanaa in the office if they feel their child should be considered for specific intervention.

Debating - Takes place weekly on Thursdays

Ms Adam's runs a very successful KS2 debating club that meet weekly after school. KS2 pupils are told about debating club in class and are given the opportunity to apply.  Parents cannot book a place at this club, however they can register their interest to Hanaa in the office. Places for this club are extremely limited: the club is currently full.

Choir - Takes place weekly on Tuesdays

Ms Dubuisson runs a weekly choir session after school for children that have expressed a strong interest in joining choir. Ms D gave pupils the opportunity to express their interest in the Autumn term and provided those pupils with letters. A waiting list applies for this club.

Due to the long term objectives of the school choir, the selection process for this club happens once per year.
