Year 2 are learning about the Great Fire of London. Jeffers Class were lucky enough to be able to visit the Museum of London and see and feel an exciting combination of real and replica objects relating to the Great Fire, and learn all about life, homes and firefighting in 1666. Children participated in an interactive role-play session exploring the fire, its aftermath and the rebuilding of the City, based on eyewitness accounts. It was also a fantastic opportunity for the children to develop their speaking and listening skills and gain emotional understanding of this significant event.
