Year 1 children enjoyed an exciting trip to the Natural History Museum to further explore their dinosaur topic. First, we caught the bus to Monument and then took the underground all the way to South Kensington. The station was very busy, but we were so excited to get to the museum. Upon arrival, we met Mel, who taught us about fossils and helped us understand how they help us learn about the past and how they are made. We then completed a huge stegosaurus puzzle and learned about how stegosaurus protected themselves against carnivorous dinosaurs. Finally, we saw the huge dinosaur display in the museum and were fascinated by their size.
