Year 5 participated in a virtual coding workshop via Zoom meeting to learn about Tower Bridge and then apply STEM knowledge and skills to 'RAISE TOWER BRIDGE'. This is what a Year 5 child said:
"During the Tower Bridge workshop, we used our STEM, in particular- programming skills, to animate Tower Bridge opening and closing using SCRATCH software accessed from class Chromebooks. This helped us to understand mechanisms and really understand how Tower Bridge works."
