End of Key Stage Assessments

Each half term we offer curriculum meetings to discuss the curriculum content, assessment checkpoints and information on supporting children with statutory assessment. Please do download our app for further information regarding this.

2023/24 academic year

Reception baseline assessment

Schools must complete the reception baseline assessment for each child in the first six weeks after they enter reception.

Key stage 1

From this academic year, Key Stage 1 SATs tests have become non-statutory for all primary schools in England. As a result, Year 2 will not sit the tests as part of a formal, national assessment. Year 2 will follow the whole school assessment timeline, using NFER tests which can be tracked for progress over time. Please do ask any questions regarding these tests at the curriculum meeting in Summer 1 or through a pre-arranged meeting with your childs teacher.

Key stage 2

The key stage 2 tests are timetabled from Monday 13th May to Thursday 16 May 2024.

Multiplication check

Schools should administer the multiplication tables check within the 3-week period from Monday 3rd June 2024.
