Homework in KS1

Children are given maths and reading homework assigned each Friday through Google Classroom. Children should read for a minimum of 15 minutes each night and watch the RWI videos under their RWI group in Google Classroom. Children will also receive a RWI Book Bag Book, which is a decodable text appropriate for their reading ability. Children borrow a 'Story to Share' each week from the class library. An adult should read this story as it will contain vocabulary children can't read for themselves. Class library books must be returned each Friday.

Maths homework is assigned using the IXL programme and links to the week's learning.

Homework is due each Thursday.

Finally, there will be an Enquiring Ebony homework project sent home half termly linking to the upcoming topic. These will be due back after the holiday.

If you would like any support or have a query, please don't hesitate to contact the Year team via email admin@shoreditchpark.hackney.sch.uk.
